Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Candler, North Carolina

A retail pharmacy position is available on a per diem basis in Candler, NC, with regular coverage needed on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Additional shifts may be required, including vacation coverage, to support a team consisting of one staff pharmacist and two pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Verifying prescriptions and ensuring accuracy
• Checking pharmacy technician work for compliance and quality
• Answering phone calls and addressing patient and provider inquiries
• Counseling patients on medication use and safety
• Administering immunizations, if certified

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification is preferred or willingness to obtain
