Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Catlin, IL

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position in an ambulatory outpatient retail environment, providing essential pharmacy services with a daily script volume of approximately 100 prescriptions. The role is Per Diem, with scheduled shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on October 21 and 23.

Location:

• Catlin, Illinois

Schedule/Hours:

• October 21, 2023: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• October 23, 2023: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Monday through Friday shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense prescription medications in a retail outpatient setting.
• Utilize Epic Willow for order entry and medication management.
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois pharmacist license is required.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential.
• Experience with Epic Willow is a plus; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
