Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Chattanooga, Tennessee

A per diem mail order pharmacist position is available to provide vacation coverage from May 27-29, with ongoing needs in Chattanooga, TN. This role supports an independent compounding pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 compounds daily.

Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a lunch break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The schedule for this role aligns with these hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and handling phone inquiries
• Address pharmacist-related questions as they arise
• Supervise the mail order eye drop department, which ships three different versions of post-cataract surgery eye drops

Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacist License in good standing for the State of Tennessee
• One to two years (or more) of pharmacist experience
• Mail order pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Retired or semi-retired pharmacists, as well as recent reliable graduates, are encouraged to apply
