Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Chattanooga, Tennessee

A well-established independent compounding pharmacy in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage and support ongoing needs. This role involves overseeing daily pharmacy operations, with a focus on mail order prescription fulfillment and specialized eye drop compounding.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Closed Saturday and Sunday
• Lunch break: 1:00 PM 2:00 PM

Schedule:

• Per Diem, primarily during regular pharmacy hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and handling phone inquiries
• Manage the mail order eye drop department, which ships out three types of post-cataract surgery eye drops daily
• Address and resolve any clinical or operational questions that arise during the shift
• Maintain smooth operation of pharmacy workflows and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State of Tennessee
• 1-2 years or more of experience as a pharmacist
• Mail order pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory
