RPh on the Go is currently seeking Staff Pharmacists for a direct-hire opportunity in St. Louis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacist, and new graduates will also be considered!

Position Details

Location: St. Louis, MO
Position Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: MondayFriday
Hours: Rotating schedule between 7:30 AM9:00 PM
Candidates must be comfortable working a rotating schedule
Scheduling details will be discussed during the phone interview

Alternative 4x10 Schedule May Be Available:

SundayWednesday: 7:00 AM5:00 PM
OR
WednesdaySaturday: 7:00 AM5:00 PM

What You'll Do

Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone
Answer patient questions regarding new prescriptions, refills, side effects, medication adherence, and proper medication use
Collaborate with prescribers and physician offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues that may delay dispensing
Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and accurate dosing
Verify prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment, ensuring accuracy of medication, dose, quantity, and labeling
Assist pharmacy management with receiving, processing, and transferring patient prescriptions
Take ownership of prescription transfers from start to finish

Requirements

Clear and active Missouri Pharmacist License
Pharmacist experience preferred in retail, mail order, specialty, or fulfillment pharmacy
New graduates will be considered
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume pharmacy environment
Must be comfortable with the required rotating schedule or one of the available 4x10 options
