Inpatient Oncology Pharmacist in Cicero, IL

A clinical hospital Staff Pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract with possible extension, working in an inpatient hospital environment. This role involves rotating between first and second shifts, including weekends, providing an excellent opportunity to apply your inpatient clinical and oncology knowledge in a dynamic setting.

Location: Cicero, IL
Shift: Rotating first and second shifts

• 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 2:30 PM 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in an inpatient hospital setting
• Review and verify medication orders using the Cerner system
• Provide clinical expertise, particularly in oncology pharmacy services
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Maintain proper documentation and records

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois pharmacy license required
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
• Oncology pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner pharmacy system is a plus
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
