Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Cleveland, Ohio

This opportunity offers flexible, per diem floating pharmacist coverage across multiple retail grocery pharmacy locations in Akron, Cleveland, and Canton, OH. The role involves supporting various stores with pharmacy operations in a self-scheduled PRN model, allowing you to select shifts based on your availability each month.

Location:

• Worksite locations vary among stores in Akron, Cleveland, and Canton, OH
• Reliable transportation required to float between these sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services including dispensing prescriptions and counseling patients
• Perform retail pharmacy duties such as inventory management, data entry, customer service, and technician supervision
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRx pharmacy software for daily tasks
• Float between stores as needed, adapting to differing prescription volumes and staffing structures

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license
• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel between multiple nearby locations
• Reliable transportation for travel between shifts
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage floating responsibilities effectively

Training & Onboarding:

• Completion of three paid 8-hour training shifts prior to first per diem assignment
• Training locations may be outside your preferred territory and will prepare you for floating coverage
• Pharmacy smock/uniform provided

Schedule:

• Self-scheduling PRN model with monthly shift selection
• Shift availability communicated around the 20th-22nd of each month
