Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist in Clifton, NJ

A home infusion pharmacy is seeking a full-time, temporary pharmacist for a contract position starting October 19, 2026, through the end of January 2027. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized setting focused on preparing and verifying medications for patients receiving care at home.

Schedule:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Shift options: 8:00 AM4:00 PM or 9:00 AM5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and safe drug therapy
• Prepare, fill, and compound sterile medications following established formulas and quality standards
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, including inventory management, drug usage reporting, and patient documentation
• Support pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and company policies
• Participate in quality assurance activities related to sterile compounding and pharmacy practices

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted New Jersey Pharmacist License
• Proven experience verifying sterile medications
• Expertise in USP 797 sterile compounding standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

• Clifton, NJ area, with work performed at a home infusion pharmacy in Wayne, NJ
