Staff Pharmacist | Coatesville, Pennsylvania

A Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to oversee fulfillment operations and provide expert patient care. This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to manage a dedicated team and play a critical role in ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of prescription medications in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise fulfillment personnel and daily operations during your shift
• Participate in shipping and handling of prescription orders as needed
• Review and process prescription orders accurately according to prescriber and patient requests
• Ensure proper compounding techniques, precise documentation, and compliance with applicable pharmaceutical laws
• Assess patient demographics and medication histories to develop individualized care plans
• Monitor drug therapy for appropriateness, including dosage, regimen, interactions, and therapeutic duplication
• Counsel patients on prescription, over-the-counter medications, and nutritional supplements

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
