Pharmacist in Collierville, TN

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated staff pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care for patients managing complex, chronic conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to work in a low volume environment that allows focused, detailed patient care.

Location: Collierville, TN (Cordova area)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical patient management by supporting individuals with infused drug therapies, including factor replacement treatments, emicizumab, and other novel subcutaneous and IV infusions.
• Educate patients and their families regarding medication administration, managing side effects, adherence strategies, and safe handling of infused drugs in home settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Work closely with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance complexities, obtain prior authorizations, and connect patients with financial assistance programs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Tennessee is required.
• Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred; training is available for strong candidates.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure is welcomed.
