Staff Pharmacist | Collierville, Tennessee
This position offers the opportunity to provide expert pharmaceutical care within a low-volume clinical setting, focusing on patients with complex conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders. The role requires specialized knowledge in infused therapies and a collaborative approach to patient management.
Location: Collierville, TN
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive clinical patient management for individuals requiring infused medications.
- Manage therapies including factor replacement, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and intravenous infusions.
- Educate patients and their families on drug administration techniques, side effect monitoring, medication adherence, and safe handling in the home environment.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Assist patients with benefits navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to obtain prior authorizations and identify financial assistance resources.
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Tennessee (TN license required).
- Pharmacist license in Arkansas (AR) is highly preferred, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Experience with CareTend software is a significant advantage, though training is available.
- Prior experience within clinical or specialty pharmacy settings is beneficial.
