Looking for your next travel pharmacy adventure? RPh on the Go is seeking a Travel Retail Pharmacist for an exciting 13-week assignment at a busy outpatient retail pharmacy in Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to step into a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) role, though experienced Staff Pharmacists with strong retail backgrounds will also be considered.

Assignment Highlights

• 13-week travel contract with strong potential for direct hire
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Outpatient Retail Pharmacy
• Travel and housing accommodations provided
• Work alongside an experienced team of pharmacy technicians
• Opportunity to take on pharmacy leadership responsibilities

Pharmacy Details

• Pharmacy Software: Liberty
• Approximately 200 prescriptions on Mondays; 125 prescriptions Tuesday-Friday
• Supported by a team of 4 full-time pharmacy technicians (7 technicians on payroll)
• Pharmacist will oversee daily pharmacy operations

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Provide exceptional patient counseling and customer service
• Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and operations
• Perform PIC responsibilities if selected for the leadership role

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist license
• Recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Pharmacy management or PIC experience preferred, but not required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
