Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Columbia, MO

This opportunity seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services on a per diem basis in a retail pharmacy setting located in Columbia, MO. The assignment runs from October 3rd through October 7th, with specific shifts outlined below.

As the sole pharmacist on site, you will work alongside two full-time pharmacy technicians and play a critical role in ensuring safe and effective medication dispensing and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medication therapies to promote adherence and understanding
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions according to state and federal regulations
• Perform final verifications on prescriptions before release to patients
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and compliance

Schedule:

• Saturday, October 3rd: 8:45 a.m. 2:15 p.m.
• Monday, October 5th: 7:30 a.m. 6:15 p.m.
• Tuesday, October 6th: 7:30 a.m. 6:15 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 7th: 7:30 a.m. 6:15 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Missouri Pharmacist license
• Recent experience working as a pharmacist
• New graduates who meet licensing requirements are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable functioning as the only pharmacist on site
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus but not mandatory
