Retail Staff Pharmacist - Columbus, Ohio

This role offers the opportunity to serve as a Staff Pharmacist in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment with an average of 200-300 inbound prescriptions daily. The staff includes five pharmacy technicians and two pharmacists, creating a collaborative team atmosphere. The position involves managing daily pharmacy operations and providing excellent patient care.

Location:

• Columbus, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment with potential for direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists to ensure smooth operations
• Utilize Prime RX for order entry and management
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Retail pharmacy experience required
• Experience with Prime RX preferred
• Valid pharmacy technician license for Ohio required
