Sterile Compounding Pharmacist Kennett Square, PA

We're hiring a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join a growing Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced pharmacists and motivated new graduates with a background in sterile compounding who are looking to build a long-term career.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Possible shift after training: 10:30 AM 7:00 PM (candidates must be flexible)

Responsibilities:

Verify sterile and non-sterile compounded preparations for accuracy and compliance
Ensure adherence to USP <795>, USP <797>, and USP <800> standards
Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance processes
Perform calculations and maintain accurate documentation
Ensure proper aseptic technique, cleaning, and garbing procedures
Monitor production equipment and maintain quality standards
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure the safety, purity, and potency of compounded medications
Provide patient counseling on compounded, prescription, and over-the-counter medications
Support continuous improvement and stay current on compounding practices and regulations

Requirements:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
Recent pharmacist experience
Background in sterile compounding required
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance is essential
