Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Travel Pharmacist for a six-month contract assignment with a retail pharmacy in San Angelo, Texas. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and is comfortable working within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Flexibility with scheduling is essential.

Schedule

• Full-time hours
• Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (rotating shifts)
• Rotating Saturdays (every 3rd or 4th week): 8:00 AM 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
• Provide thorough patient counseling regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant workflow
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a retail pharmacy setting

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Recent experience in a retail pharmacy environment required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Immunization certification required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
