Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Davis, IL

This per diem opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist in the Freeport, IL area, supporting a pharmacy team consisting of three full-time pharmacy technicians and one to two pharmacists. The pharmacy handles approximately 2,000 prescriptions weekly, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients effectively on medication use and safety
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
• Perform final verification of filled prescriptions to ensure accuracy
• Administer immunizations as needed

Schedule:

• Thursday, August 20th: 12:00 pm 4:00 pm (training session)
• Friday, August 21st: 11:00 am 7:00 pm

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacist license required
• Immunization certification preferred to support vaccination services
• Experience with EPS pharmacy software is a plus but not mandatory
