Retail Staff Pharmacist - Diboll, Texas

A retail pharmacist position is available to provide maternity leave coverage from December 2026 through February 2027 in Diboll, TX. This contract role offers flexible shift options to accommodate your scheduling preferences within store hours.

Schedule:

• Store hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Shift 1: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (options to end at 4:30 PM or 4:00 PM)
• Shift 2: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (options to end at 5:30 PM or 5:00 PM)
• Flexibility to work less than 8 hours if needed

Responsibilities include:

• Upholding core company values and delivering exceptional customer service
• Performing final verification of prescriptions from authorized prescribers
• Providing drug information regarding interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage to patients and prescribers
• Adhering to all applicable regulations, including HIPAA and controlled substance security protocols
• Managing pharmacy communications, including answering pharmacist-required phone calls and retrieving voicemail messages
• Offering patient counseling as required or upon request
• Resolving customer conflicts professionally both in person and over the phone

Please note, this role does not involve vaccination administration or medication therapy management services.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience
• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy software
