Pharmacist in Dorchester, MA
An opportunity is available for an evening shift Staff Pharmacist in a closed-door long-term care facility located in the Foxborough, Massachusetts area. This direct hire role offers a dynamic environment with a focus on providing quality pharmaceutical care in a setting that processes approximately 600 prescriptions daily.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and final medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training provided)
- Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
- Work Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, with rotating weekend shifts
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
- Pharmacy experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail under pressure
- Open to new graduates eager to grow their skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage technician workflow effectively
