Staff Pharmacist | East Saint Louis, Illinois

Support pharmacy operations as a Staff Pharmacist in a well-structured, contract role offering 24-30 hours per week. This position requires dedication to quality pharmaceutical care during weekday and weekend shifts in the East Saint Louis, IL area.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only (7:00 AM 7:00 PM on-call, compensated at $8/hour)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill, check, and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and adherence
• Manage typical retail pharmacy duties efficiently and professionally
• Respond to emergency orders during Sunday on-call hours

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy License required
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
