Retail Staff Pharmacist | Edwardsville, Illinois

Join as a Staff Pharmacist on a contract basis, working a flexible 24-30 hour week in a retail pharmacy setting. The role is ideal for licensed pharmacists with experience in prescription filling, verification, and patient counseling. You'll operate within standard pharmacy hours, contributing to efficient and quality pharmaceutical care.

Location:

• Edwardsville, IL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 am 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am 2:00 pm
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, 7:00 am 7:00 pm (on-call)

Compensation for on-call hours is provided at $8 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Fill, check, and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide counseling and information to patients regarding medications
• Handle emergency orders on Sundays during on-call hours
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy License required
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx dispensing software is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently during on-call periods and flexibly across specified shifts

On-call shifts require availability for Sunday emergency orders with dedicated compensation during this time.
