Staff Pharmacist | Edwardsville, Illinois

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position offering 24-30 hours per week on a contract basis in Edwardsville, IL. The role involves managing typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription filling, verification, and patient counseling. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM; and Sundays reserved for emergency orders only. Additionally, on-call coverage is required Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call compensation provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill, check, and verify prescriptions
• Provide patient counseling on medications and proper usage
• Manage emergency orders on Sundays as needed
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Support smooth daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy License required
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx software highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
