Seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support a busy independent retail pharmacy in Ellaville, GA. This per diem role offers a consistent one-day-per-week schedule, with shifts typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Schedule: One day per week (9:00 AM 6:00 PM), shift day varies
Environment: Independent Retail Pharmacy
Script Volume: Approximately 275 prescriptions per day
Staffing: 1 Pharmacist and 3 Pharmacy Technicians

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling in accordance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Utilize Pioneer RX for order entry and prescription processing (training available for Pioneer RX)
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain efficient workflow and ensure optimal patient care
• Manage prescription volume efficiently during your shift and uphold high standards of service and safety

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia pharmacy license required
• Retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Prior experience with Pioneer RX is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
