A new opportunity is available for pharmacists seeking flexible, per diem work as a floating staff pharmacist serving multiple grocery retail pharmacy locations across Akron, Cleveland, and Canton, Ohio.

Position Overview: This role supports a pilot staffing partnership within well-established grocery pharmacies. You will provide coverage on a PRN basis, floating between stores as needed to maintain seamless pharmacy operations. The scheduling model is self-directed; each month, a list of available shifts will be shared, and you choose the dates that fit your availabilityideal for pharmacists seeking supplemental income or a semi-retired schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely in a retail grocery pharmacy setting
• Perform pharmacy operations such as inventory management, data entry, and customer service
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure quality patient care
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRx software for prescription processing and record keeping
• Travel reliably between multiple pharmacy locations in Akron, Cleveland, and Canton as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability and willingness to travel between stores with reliable transportation

Training and Onboarding:

• Completion of three paid 8-hour training shifts prior to assignment
• Training locations may vary and could be outside preferred areas
• Smock/uniform provided

Work Schedule:

• Self-scheduling PRN model offers flexibility with shift selection each month
