Staff Pharmacist 2nd Shift | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity - Southgate, Kentucky

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity in Southgate, Kentucky. This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative pharmacy team in a stable and patient-focused environment with long-term potential for permanent placement.

Position Responsibilities

• Accurately process, verify, and dispense prescription medications
• Provide pharmaceutical care and patient counseling regarding medications and healthcare needs
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of controlled substances
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related concerns
• Utilize pharmacy resources and clinical references to support safe and effective patient care
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations

Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
• One weekend per month required

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience required
• Retail or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy setting
