A retail pharmacist role is available in a vibrant pharmacy located in Espanola, NM, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with a schedule designed for daytime hours. This position is ideal for pharmacists seeking to apply their skills in a high-volume retail environment using the PioneerRx system.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)
• Manage workflow efficiently in a busy setting processing approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a strong advantage
• Background in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred
