Staff Pharmacist | Ester, Alaska

This opportunity is designed for a skilled retail pharmacist to provide essential pharmaceutical care and services in a dynamic setting. You will work a variety of shifts, ensuring patients receive expert medication management and support throughout the week.

Location:

• Ester, AK

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 8:30 PM
• Saturday, 9:30 AM 7:00 PM

Contract Details:

• 13+ week contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Offer patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Provide immunizations as a certified pharmacist
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and ensure timely restocking
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree from an accredited institution
• Active and clear Alaska Board of Pharmacy license
• Immunization certification required
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work various shifts, including Saturdays
