Oncology Inpatient Staff Pharmacist in Evanston, IL

This opportunity is for a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist position within an inpatient hospital environment. The role involves working a rotating schedule between first and second shifts over a 13-week contract, with the possibility of extension.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating first and second shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Manage medication dispensing and review using Cerner electronic health records system
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapies, with a focus on oncology patients
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations, maintaining high standards of patient safety

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is highly desired
• Oncology pharmacy experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy systems is a plus
• Active Illinois pharmacy license required
