Inpatient Oncology Staff Pharmacist | Evanston, Illinois

A clinical hospital staff pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract with potential for extension. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital setting, supporting patient outcomes across various medical needs including oncology.

Schedule and Location:

• Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM; 2:30 PM 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends
• Located in Evanston, IL

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services within the inpatient hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies for patients
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records effectively for dispensing and clinical care
• Provide oncology pharmacy support as needed, enhancing patient treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois pharmacy license
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is highly desired
• Oncology pharmacy experience preferred to support specialized patient care
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy systems is a significant plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
