Per Diem Outpatient Staff Pharmacist - Fort Dodge, Iowa

A per diem opportunity is available for an experienced outpatient pharmacist focused on delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role requires verifying prescriptions with accuracy and engaging patients through counseling to promote safe medication use.

Location: Fort Dodge, IA

Schedule (June/July 2026):

• June 12th: 8 AM 5 PM
• June 18th & 19th: 8 AM 5 PM (no technician support)
• July 17th: 1 PM 5 PM
• July 31st: 8 AM 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify low volume outpatient prescriptions with precision
• Provide patient counseling to ensure understanding of medication regimens
• Perform general outpatient pharmacist duties consistent with best practices

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Pharmacist License
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy practice
• Strong communication skills and ability to independently manage workflow
