Staff Pharmacist | Framingham, Massachusetts

An opportunity is available for an Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist at a closed-door long-term care pharmacy facility. This direct hire position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment supporting medication management and ensuring patient safety through accurate dispensing and review.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial prescription reviews using Frameworks software (training provided)
• Performing final medication checks for accuracy
• Overseeing pharmacy technicians and workflow efficiency
• Dispensing medications in compliance with regulations
• Supporting quality assurance and patient safety measures

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Ability to efficiently handle a high volume of approximately 600 prescriptions daily
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in medication review and dispensing
• Comfortable working independently and supervising a team of technicians
