Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Fredericktown, Ohio

Provide essential pharmacy services as a Per Diem Pharmacist supporting vacation coverage at a retail location operating Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pharmacists are expected to work from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no lunch closing periods, to ensure continuous patient care and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include verifying and filling over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software, performing data entry and product verification, answering phones, and managing receipt and signing for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries. While immunizations are currently not a provided duty, maintaining accurate data and thorough medication checks are critical to this role.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in data entry and drug verification processes
• Excellent communication skills for effective phone interactions

• Per Diem availability covering vacation periods including November 25
