Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Freeport, IL

A pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support their team in Freeport, IL, on a per diem basis. This role involves providing vital services in a moderately busy pharmacy environment with a volume of approximately 2,000 prescriptions per week.

Location:

• Freeport, Illinois

Schedule:

• Thursday, August 20th: 12:00 PM 4:00 PM (training)
• Friday, August 21st: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Perform final verifications of dispensed medications to maintain safety standards
• Administer immunizations as needed to support patient health

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold a clear and active Illinois Pharmacist license
• Immunization certification is preferred to assist with vaccination services
• Familiarity with EPS software is advantageous but not required
• Experience working within a pharmacy team environment, including collaborating with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists
