Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Galion, Ohio

A pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage from September 14th to September 18th and on November 25th. This role requires a dedicated professional to work Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The pharmacy operates without closing for lunch, allowing for continuous patient support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and process over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Perform data entry and ensure thorough data verification
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
• Verify products and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate smoothly with a team that currently includes three full-time pharmacy technicians

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with PioneerRx software is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of prescriptions daily
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
