Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Galion, Ohio

A reliable pharmacist is needed to provide per diem coverage for vacation periods at a retail pharmacy located in Galion, OH. This role requires a responsible professional licensed in Ohio to support daily pharmacy operations Monday through Friday.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy open 9:00 AM 4:30 PM; no lunch closure
• Coverage needed for vacation dates, including November 25

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and verify data using PioneerRx software for over 200 prescriptions daily
• Check prescriptions and verify products ensuring patient safety and compliance
• Answer phone calls and assist customers efficiently
• Receive and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate with a team including three full-time pharmacy technicians
• Note: Immunizations are not currently part of this pharmacists duties

Qualifications:

• Current and active Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient with pharmacy software systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently during shifts
