Retail Pharmacist 13-Week Contract-to-Hire - Boothwyn, Pennsylvania

Schedule: MondayFriday with every-other-Saturday rotation

RPh on the Go is currently seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a community pharmacy. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role following the initial contract period and is well suited for a pharmacist seeking a consistent schedule and long-term opportunity.

Position Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions while providing professional and patient-centered care
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding appropriate medication use
• Lead and support pharmacy immunization services, including COVID-19, influenza, and other recommended vaccines
• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and established policies and procedures
• Oversee inventory management and assist with medication cost control
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to pharmacy staff
• Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to promote accuracy and patient safety
• Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy workflow, efficiency, and overall service quality
• Address patient questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and required pharmacy reports
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient daily operations and a high standard of patient care

Schedule

The schedule follows a two-week alternating rotation:

Week 1

• MondayFriday: 9:30 AM6:00 PM

Week 2

• MondayWednesday & Friday: 9:30 AM6:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM2:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM2:00 PM

The pharmacist will work every other Saturday, alternating with the current part-time pharmacist. During the weeks that include a Saturday shift, Thursday will be a four-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License required
• Recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Immunization certification preferred
• Comfortable working an every-other-Saturday schedule
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
