This opportunity seeks a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a retail setting. The position offers 24-30 hours per week, perfect for professionals seeking a balanced schedule while making a positive impact on patient care.

Location: Granite City, IL
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Sunday: Emergency orders only (on-call shift from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm) with additional compensation of $8 per hour for on-call status

Responsibilities:

• Accurately filling, checking, and verifying prescriptions
• Providing patient counseling to ensure proper medication use
• Managing typical retail pharmacy operations efficiently
• Responding to emergency orders on Sundays as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy License
• PharmD preferred, demonstrating a thorough pharmaceutical education
• Experience with PioneerRx software preferred, enhancing workflow and accuracy
• Proven ability to deliver excellent patient care and handle retail pharmacy duties independently
