Staff Pharmacist | Granite City, Illinois

This opportunity seeks an experienced pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services in a retail setting. The role requires a commitment of 24-30 hours per week, primarily during weekday and Saturday hours, with on-call responsibilities on Sundays.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, on-call from 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill, check, and verify prescriptions
• Provide patient counseling on medications and usage
• Manage typical retail pharmacy duties with attention to detail and compliance
• Respond promptly to emergency orders during on-call shifts

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy License required
• PharmD preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx system is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and patient safety
• Effective communication and counseling skills

Additional Information:

• Agreements must be signed prior to engagement
• On-call pay offered at $8 per hour for Sunday coverage
