Retail Staff Pharmacist | Greenfield, Massachusetts

This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience seeking to advance their career in an independent pharmacy setting. Located in Greenfield, MA, this contract-to-hire position offers a work schedule Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, spanning 13 weeks with the potential for direct hire. The role involves being the sole pharmacist and pharmacy manager, supported by a team of three pharmacy technicians, managing a script volume of approximately 100 prescriptions per day.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the pharmacist-in-charge (PIC) or staff pharmacist with the potential to transition into the Pharmacy Manager (PM) role
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations within an independent retail environment
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription order entry using Computer RX
• Manage staff and workflow effectively with three pharmacy technicians
• Provide excellent patient care and counseling while maintaining regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacy license is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy practice is essential
• Previous PIC experience is highly desirable; however, staff pharmacists looking to step into a management role will also be considered
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage pharmacy staff and operations

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
