Per Diem Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist - Greensboro, North Carolina

An immediate need for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist is available to support a pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract assignment offers flexibility with potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. Candidates with a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding, who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders related to infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure strict compliance with USP standards and other regulatory guidelines
• Provide clinical support and drug information to staff and patients
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain workflow and patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation ensuring regulatory compliance

Schedule:

• Immediate coverage needed from 4/27 through 5/1, with availability for as many days as possible
• Additional shifts likely a few days per week (to be confirmed)

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in home infusion or infusion pharmacy required
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding processes
• Familiarity with USP guidelines and regulatory standards
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing environments

Additional Information:

• Retail Pharmacist applicants will be considered for contract roles during the search for an infusion pharmacist
• Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) duties not required during contract assignment unless converted to permanent status
• Willingness to assume PIC responsibilities if hired permanently
