Staff Pharmacist | Hampton, Virginia

A healthcare facility specializing in long-term care is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for the second shift. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with rotating weekends, supporting patient care in a closed-door pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PV1 and PV2 medication verifications ensuring accuracy and safety
• Accurately fill prescriptions and verify medication orders
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize the Frameworks software system (training provided if needed)

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active Virginia Pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacy experience; long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Open to new graduates who are eager to develop their pharmacy skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
