Retail Staff Pharmacist - Hazleton, PA

Pharmacist opportunity available for an ongoing contract in a retail pharmacy setting. This role offers a dynamic environment with a prescription volume of approximately 500 scripts per day and a supportive team consisting of two pharmacists and one to two pharmacy technicians.

Locations include Hazleton, PA, with potential to float between sites in Shenandoah and Fredericksburg, PA. This arrangement could provide flexible scheduling and the possibility of additional hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications using RX 30 order entry system
• Provide excellent patient counseling and ensure medication safety
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient workflow
• Manage high prescription volume in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacy license required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience essential
• Familiarity with RX 30 system highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
