Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Lancaster, Pennsylvania

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for an exciting 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. If you're a pharmacist with startup, leadership, or specialty pharmacy experience and are looking to make a lasting impact, this is an excellent opportunity to help launch a new pharmacy from the ground up while positioning yourself for a long-term leadership role.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13-week contract with strong potential for permanent hire
• Initial Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week
  • MondayFriday
  • 9:00 AM 1:00 PM
• Future Schedule: Full-time hours once the pharmacy becomes fully operational

Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy through the Pennsylvania licensure and inspection process
• Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge during the startup phase
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and workflows
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Prepare for Board of Pharmacy inspections and maintain audit readiness
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations after launch
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing pharmacy staff

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Previous Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) experience preferred
• Experience with pharmacy startups, licensure, inspections, or accreditation
• Background in specialty, mail-order, or compounding pharmacy is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of DEA regulations and pharmacy compliance
• Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacist licenses is a plus
