Retail IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist | High Point, North Carolina

Join a specialty retail pharmacy environment focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding in High Point, NC. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire, working as a Staff Pharmacist on a daytime schedule. The role involves working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in a specialty retail setting
• Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile prescriptions following strict guidelines
• Utilize order entry systems, including PK software, with training provided
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and safety protocols
• Counsel patients and provide drug information as needed

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license is required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience with sterile compounding is advantageous
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
