Retail Staff Pharmacist - Hilliard, OH
An opportunity awaits for a skilled retail pharmacist to contribute in a fast-paced, customer-focused pharmacy setting. This role involves managing prescription intake and ensuring accurate dispensing within a collaborative team of pharmacy professionals.
Position Details:
- Location: Hilliard, OH
- Job Type: Contract to Hire (13 weeks)
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Environment: Retail pharmacy with approximately 200-300 inbound prescriptions daily
- Team: 2 Pharmacists and 5 Pharmacy Technicians
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions using Prime RX software
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medications and proper usage
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to maintain workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the pharmacy management system
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with Ohio pharmacy technician license required
- Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with Prime RX software is a strong advantage
- Able to handle a high-volume prescription workflow while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach
