Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Indian, Alaska

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a dynamic behavioral health inpatient setting, supporting patient wellness through careful medication management.

This per diem role offers a daytime schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with additional on-call responsibilities during evenings and occasional weekends. The assignment spans 8 to 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Two days of orientation and training are provided before your start date to ensure a smooth transition. Full travel and housing expenses are covered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate order entry and manage medication dispensing using HCS and Omnicell automation systems.
• Conduct thorough Omnicell checks to ensure proper medication distribution.
• Monitor drug therapies to optimize patient safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support behavioral health treatment plans.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active Alaska License and Alaska RPh Permit.
• Experience in acute care or behavioral health pharmacy practice.
• Familiarity with Omnicell automation systems is preferred.
