13-Week Contract Opportunity

We're seeking two Pharmacists to support warehouse pharmacy operations for a specialty pharmacy in Illinois. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with experience in medication management, inventory, and IV medications.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
10:30 AM 7:00 PM
13-week contract assignment

Requirements:

Active and clear Illinois Pharmacist license
Some knowledge of IV medications required
Strong attention to detail and ability to support pharmacy operations

Responsibilities:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of medications, including refrigerated and specialty medications
Manage inventory levels, ordering, and expiration control to minimize waste
Ensure proper medication storage conditions and compliance with USP standards and state/federal regulations
Verify medication orders prior to preparation and shipment
Supervise pharmacy technicians involved in inventory, picking, packing, and shipping processes
Coordinate with sterile compounding pharmacists and technicians to ensure medications and supplies are available for patient orders
Review controlled substance inventory and maintain required documentation
Perform cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and quality assurance audits
Collaborate with purchasing, nursing, and operations teams to ensure timely medication delivery
Utilize pharmacy software and inventory management systems to track medications and supplies

Compensation for this position ranges from $53.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
