Outpatient Staff Pharmacist | Jamaica, New York

An established healthcare system in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to fill a full-time, 612 month contract position within their outpatient pharmacy. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume retail and specialty pharmacy environment, with a particular emphasis on 340B program management, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a dynamic outpatient pharmacy that dispenses approximately 65,000 prescriptions annually
• Overseeing operations where roughly 80% of business involves 340B medications
• Ensuring adherence to Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
• Supporting ACHC and/or URAC accreditation and compliance activities
• Collaborating with pharmacy leadership, compliance, and legal teams to maintain regulatory standards
• Utilizing PrimeRx pharmacy system for daily workflows

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist license
• Proven experience in retail/outpatient and specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong expertise in 340B program operations and compliance
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Background in working with ACHC and/or URAC accreditation processes
• Demonstrated skills in regulatory and compliance oversight within pharmacy operations
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
