Staff Pharmacist | Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a Fulfillment Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract to hire assignment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized environment focused on accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fulfillment personnel and ensure smooth operations during your shift
• Participate in shipping and handling of prescription orders as needed
• Process prescription orders accurately, meeting prescriber and patient requirements
• Maintain compliance with laws and regulations by ensuring proper technique, preparation, and documentation of all pharmaceutical products
• Assess patient demographics and medication histories to develop and monitor patient care plans
• Provide patient education on drug therapy, including dosage, interactions, and therapeutic regimens
• Counsel patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter options, and nutritional supplements

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred; newer graduates encouraged to apply
