Retail IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist in Kernersville, NC

This opportunity offers a dynamic role for an experienced pharmacist specializing in both sterile and non-sterile compounding within a specialty retail pharmacy environment. The position supports flexible training opportunities and provides a pathway to direct hire after an initial 13-week contract.

Location:

• Kernersville, NC

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify prescription orders using the PK order entry system (training provided)
• Perform compounding tasks in both sterile and non-sterile settings
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Provide professional pharmaceutical care and counsel patients as needed
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient operations and high-quality patient service

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license required
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years pharmacy experience, preferably in retail settings
• Experience with sterile compounding strongly preferred
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Comfortable working in a specialty retail environment focused on compounded medications
