IV Sterile Compounding Retail Staff Pharmacist - Kernersville, NC

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled pharmacist ready to take on a dynamic role within a specialty retail environment focusing on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. The position offers a contract-to-hire arrangement over a 13-week period, with a strong possibility of direct hire for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and verifying prescriptions in a retail pharmacy setting
• Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding with attention to precision and safety
• Managing order entry using PK software, with full training provided
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure accurate medication preparation
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and pharmacy policies
• Delivering excellent patient care and education during daily interactions

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience with sterile compounding is highly advantageous
• Exposure to non-sterile compounding is beneficial
• Familiarity with PK or similar pharmacy software desired; training available

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break daily
