Staff Pharmacist | Kinde, Michigan

This full-time pharmacist opportunity offers a unique blend of retail and hospital inpatient pharmacy practice, providing a dynamic and rewarding professional environment. Located in Kinde, MI, with the retail and hospital sites conveniently close to each other, this role allows you to split your time effectively between both settings70% retail pharmacy and 30% inpatient hospital pharmacy.

Shift & Schedule:

• Four days per week, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
• One weekday off and rotating weekend shifts

Pharmacy software includes Pioneer RX for retail and CPSI for the hospital, transitioning to EPIC in November. The retail pharmacy supports an average prescription volume of 250 daily and 1,300 weekly, including scripts for adult foster care homes and a local long-term care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, allergies, and possible interactions
• Prepare intravenous admixtures following standardized formulas and protocols
• Provide accurate information and answer medication-related questions for staff and patients
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong independent judgment while fostering teamwork

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Michigan
• Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred or a strong willingness to learn inpatient pharmacy practices
